Zinc is the best known of these, and this mineral is found naturally in oysters, wheat germ and in many seeds as well as certain meats. Make sure you don't exceed the recommended dosage of zinc if you're taking it as a supplement. Another good mineral to take for acne is chromium. Natural acne remedies can help you clear up your pimples, though not everyone's skin responds to the same treatments. You can try something for a few weeks and see if it's helping. If you're not having any luck with natural remedies, you may want to see a dermatologist, as some cases of acne require stronger treatments.
