The only difference is that they will get more assistance and you will feel comfortable knowing they are well taken care of.

This leads us to the last option, which is to hire a home health care aide. These individuals will go to your parents house and give them the individualized care they need. Your parents will maintain some amount of independence and will feel more comfortable in a place they have known as home for decades.

Alternatively, you might still prefer that your parent stays with you, in which case the same type of care can be done to ease your burdens. If you and your parent both agree, then you'll both be happy and you'll still have enough time to do other stuff.

With regards to taking care of senior citizens, the options tend to be a lot, however there's the option of home health care that the majority of senior citizens choose if they had their way. That's because they can still be part of their homes or their family's life.
